The Enhanced ACT (2025–2026)
Starting in the 2025–2026 testing year, the ACT is rolling out its “Enhanced” format with several key changes:
- Science is now optional — it’s scored separately and is not included in your composite score.
- Composite = average of 3 sections — English, Math, and Reading, each scored 1–36.
- Shorter passages and streamlined format — the overall test is more focused while maintaining rigor.
- Same 1–36 scale — colleges still see a familiar composite score.
All CramClub ACT practice tests are updated to reflect the Enhanced ACT format, so you’re always practicing the current version of the test.
