The math parents actually do
We publish the comparison because it survives checking.
One hour with a private SAT or ACT tutor typically runs $75–$150. Student Pro is $9.99/month — one tutor hour costs more than 7 months of it — and a full year ($99) costs less than 2 hours of tutoring. Check local rates; we'd rather you compare than take our word for it.

Questions parents ask
How does CramClub compare to hiring a private tutor?
One hour with a private SAT or ACT tutor typically runs $75–$150. Student Pro is $9.99/month — one tutor hour costs more than 7 months of it — and a full year ($99) costs less than 2 hours of tutoring. Check local rates; we'd rather you compare than take our word for it.
Is CramClub safe for my child?
We check date of birth at sign-up and block accounts for anyone under 13. There are no ads, and we never sell student data. Our privacy policy is written in plain language at cramclub.app/privacy, and schools can review our FERPA-aligned Data Processing Agreement at cramclub.app/school-dpa.
Do I need a credit card to start a free trial?
No. Paid-plan trials start with no card at all. If you never add payment details, your trial simply ends and you drop back to the Free plan — you are never charged without entering a card yourself.
How do I know the practice questions are actually correct?
Every practice test goes through multi-agent verification before students see it: independent AI agents re-solve every question, difficulty is calibrated against real released exams, and the numbers are published at cramclub.app/quality — including the wrong answers we caught and fixed before they reached a student.
Can I see how my student is doing?
Students see their own score reports, predicted score ranges, and study plans, and many share them with their parents. A dedicated parent view does not exist yet — if your school uses CramClub Classroom, teachers get a progress dashboard for their students.
Start with the free diagnostic
Your student takes a short adaptive diagnostic and gets a real score estimate — before you spend anything. No credit card required.
