How a Tutoring Center Runs on CramClub

Three steps, one paying account, as many tutors as you have.

Step 1

Request Tutor Access

Sign up, tell us what kind of center or practice you run, and we verify by hand — usually within one business day — then email you the moment you are approved.

Step 2

One Classroom per Tutor or Cohort

Create a classroom for each tutor, cohort, or test date. Add your tutors as co-teachers and share each class code with its students.

Step 3

Buy Seats for the Students Who Need Them

Choose how many seats to buy. They cover students across all your classrooms, first-joined-first-seated, and free up on their own when a student leaves.

Who holds what

  • The owner account creates classrooms, adds co-teachers, and buys the seats. Seats cover students in every classroom it owns.
  • Each tutor has a free, verified tutor account and is added to their classroom by email. They assign work and run live sessions; they never use a seat.
  • Each student has their own free account, joins by code, and keeps their score history whether or not they hold a seat.

What Your Students Get

Everything a student needs between sessions, and everything a tutor needs to see what happened.

Full-Length Practice Between Sessions

Assign full-length SAT, ACT, PSAT, and GRE practice with due dates, so the hour you spend with a student starts from a finished test, not a blank one.

AI Tutor When You Are Not There

Professor Cramster explains every missed question step by step, so students keep moving between your sessions instead of waiting for the next one.

One Roster per Tutor

A classroom for each tutor or cohort, with your tutors added as co-teachers. Everyone sees the students they work with, and the owner sees every classroom.

Seats You Buy Once

Seats are billed per student and shared across every classroom you own. A student leaving frees their seat; a tutor never uses one.

Live Sessions on the Board

Run a quiz on the screen with every student answering from their own device, one question at a time at the pace you set.

Content Calibrated to the Real Tests

Every question is aligned to the official specs and difficulty-calibrated against released exams, and every answer is re-checked by independent AI agents.

Built for How You Tutor

A center with twenty tutors and a parent teaching two kids at the kitchen table use the same account.

Tutoring Center

Several tutors, one paying account. Each tutor runs their own roster; the owner holds the seats and sees every classroom.

Independent Tutor

A center with one tutor. One classroom, one code, and a seat for each student you want on unlimited practice between sessions.

Homeschool Family or Co-op

A parent-teacher requests tutor access, each student joins with their own free account, and seats go only to the students who need them.

After-School or Community Program

Self-paced practice with AI support for programs with limited instructor time. Live sessions turn a drop-in hour into a class.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accounts, seats, and tutors fit together — and what we do not have yet.

How does a tutoring center with several tutors run on CramClub?+
One account — usually the owner or director — requests tutor access and holds the seats for the whole center. That account creates a classroom for each tutor, cohort, or test date, and each tutor joins their classroom as a co-teacher from their own free tutor account. Students join with a class code. Seats are billed to the owner’s account and shared across every classroom it owns, first-joined-first-seated, so you buy once for the center rather than once per tutor.
Does every tutor need their own account?+
Yes. Each tutor signs up free and requests tutor access, which we verify by hand — usually within one business day — because a co-teacher sees the roster and scores of other people’s children. Once verified, the classroom owner adds them by email. Co-teachers can assign work, read the gradebook, and run live sessions in their classroom; managing seats, billing, and other co-teachers stays with the owner.
What does it cost?+
The tutor tools — classrooms, join codes, rosters, assignments, and live sessions — are free, and a tutor never consumes a seat. Student seats are $4.99/student/month or $49/student/year, up to 200 seats on one account. A seat gives that student unlimited full-length practice tests, the AI tutor, and score predictions for as long as they hold it, and every student can start on the free plan the moment they join.
I tutor on my own — is this for me?+
Yes. An independent tutor is a center with one tutor: request tutor access, create one classroom (or one per test date), share the code, and buy a seat for each student you want on unlimited practice. Students keep their own account, so your work with them shows up in their own score history.
We homeschool. Which account do I use?+
A parent who teaches their own children, or runs a co-op, requests tutor access the same way and chooses “Homeschool family or co-op” on the form. Each student gets their own free account and joins your classroom by code; you assign practice and buy seats only for the students who need unlimited access.
What happens when a student leaves my center?+
Remove them from the classroom and their seat frees for the next-ranked student automatically. Their own account, score history, and free-plan access stay with them — the seat was yours, the progress is theirs.
Is there a center-wide dashboard across all my tutors, or white-label branding?+
Not yet. Today the owner sees each classroom one at a time, and there is no center-level view across tutors, no white-label option, and no invoice or purchase-order billing — seats are bought by card. If your center needs any of those, tell us through the schools demo form; demand from centers is exactly what moves them up the roadmap.
